Every morning I wake up on

The wrong side of capitalism

Epistemic break

As you can see, there have been some changes around here. I hope you like the new design (and I hope it works on your browser – let me know if not). Apart from that, I’ve also changed the software that runs the site, meaning excitingly, people apart from me can post stuff. I’ve lined up a couple of people already, so if they’d like to post something over the next few days introducing themselves in whatever way they see fit, that would be splendid.

I’ve added lots more links: if I’ve missed your site, or you don’t like your categorisation or description, obviously I’ll be happy to change it (I wrote a lot of them late at night, when my inspiration was definitely running out).

  2. I fear change, but I *think* I like it. Oh! I don’t get a description. Is that good or bad?

  3. I see what you’ve done.

  4. It’s bad, probably. But it does present you with an opportunity to choose your own description, which can’t be all bad.

  5. hi, thanks for making a link at me. Apparently I am your “friend”. So let’s retroact this. Who are you?

  6. Well, I was going to call that section ‘Friends, acquaintances, friends of friends, relatives of acquaintances, etc, etc’, but that was too long. I was at university with Stefan and Martin (who I think you know as I think I’ve seen them in text/e-mail of the week) and thereby know Alistair. I now live in Cambridge but used to live in Yorkshire. I like your website and am very impressed that you appear to be friends with Richard Herring.

  7. How come you get your name in bold? Let’s see if I can do it too…

  8. Names are in bold if you haven’t visited the site they link to, otherwise they’re not. But you can’t actually visit the page I’ve linked to (it just forwards you to my blog), so my name will remain in bold… If you clear out your browser history, your name will be in bold, too.

  9. Ha Herring is a dirrrty old man but yeah I know him a bit. And Danny O’Brien and Dave Green, so I was glad to see your “NTK” link. Danny is like my US penpal or something.
