Inspiration strikes
So, I was listening to the incredible Klezmer/Ska crossover of Klezska, and what may be the best idea I’ve ever had occoured to me. What the world is crying out for is a combination of the kneeling-and-jumping style of cossack dancing with classic running-on-the-spot ska dancing.

This is a lovely idea.
On a related note, has anyone done a Jewish version of Oi! called “Oy!” yet? I guess maybe the skinhead element might not sit well with Jewish sensibilities.

Video is probably beyond my technical capabilities, and cossack dancing is almost certainly beyond my athletic abilities, so you may have to wait a while for that.
I’m now wondering if I can somehow interest one of the various Jewish groups around here in putting on an “Oy” night. It’s probably just a dream, but it’s a very nice dream to have.
